On behalf of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev, we are pleased to invite you to the Scientific open seminar “Wetland Archaeology and Prehistoric Networks in Europe”, that will be held from September 14th to September 19th, 2017 at the Faculty of History (in Kyiv) and Kaniv Natural Reserve (near Kaniv town) of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
This open seminar is a final event of SNF-SCOPES project “Network in Eastern European Neolithic and Wetland Archaeology for the improvement of field techniques and dating methods” (NEENAWA). At the open seminar will discuss the scope and results of the NEENAWA activities with the internal and external partners of the project. According to themes of the participants’ proposals the blocks of the conference will be composed.
Problems chronologically cover the period from the Mesolithic – up to the Bronze Age.
The interdisciplinary open seminar brings together researchers working in Early Holocene European prehistory and archaeology. The discussed topics will cover chronologically the period from the Mesolithic – up to the Bronze Age and address the results and achievements of the NEENAWA project.
